Compost

This black biogro certified organic compost is like black gold for your soil.

It will improve soil structure; increases organic matter in you soil or planting areas and will promote healthy growth.

Compost can be added to your garden beds to refresh and revitalise the existing soil or garden mix. 

It should not be planted directly into, because it is so rich and could affect young seedlings

This product is available in 40 ltr bags, by the trailer load (one of our free loan trailers) or by bulk and delivered to your door.

Topsoil

Our Topsoil is sourced from the Auckland area. It comes from South Auckland and is screened down to 14mm. It is screened to keep out twigs and branches but may still contain the occasional piece of debris.

Topsoil is not weed free.

We have our soil under cover all year round to keep it as dry as possible. We do our best to protect it from the elements.

Waikato Loam Topsoil

This comes from the Waikato region and is taken from development sites around the Hamilton area. It is not mined and would be stockpiled or dumped if not brought to Auckland for use in our Gardens. It is a great way to recycle surplus material.

This soil has a lesser clay content than Auckland soil and tends to be more free draining and less prone to clumping. It is also not weed free.

It is widely used throughout Auckland Bowling Clubs that still have Natural Greens.

Lawn Mix

Lawn Mix comes in a number of different forms. Mixes we make up ourselves include, but are not limited to, Soil and Sand mix, TLC Mix (sand based), a Topsoil and Compost based product, and Living Earth's weed free compost based Lawn Mix

It is important to ask our staff when requesting Lawn Mix. We can give you a recommendation as to which product will suit your particular situation. Please contact your nearest yard on 0800LOADUP.

Ultrasoil

Made for us by  Living Earth it is a special blend that creates an enriched soil that gives longevity and structure that some Garden Mixes can lack. This is an ideal product for plants that may be going to grow to a larger size and will need a stronger base for their root development. Shrubs and Fruit trees will love this product.

Garden Mix

Another Living Earth product. It is a unique blend of organic Compost, bark fines, sand, blood and bone and seaweed extract.

This gives a Weed free planting mix for flowers, vegetables and the majority of planting needs around the home. It is widely used by councils and regional authorities for parks and reserves around the Auckland region.

Potting Mix

It is available in 40lt bags in all of our yards. Being produced by Living Earth you can be sure of the quality of the product.

Special Mixes

We are frequently required to make mixes to people’s particular requirements. If you require a Special Mix contact us and we can prepare anything that you need. If it is a bit complicated, even better (we like a challenge).
